NDTI Sponsored Ridgecrest Robotic Mustangs Girls Robotics Team Wins the VEX All Girls Showcase Tournament Championship

April 2015 - NDTI sponsored Ridgecrest Robotic Mustangs girls robotics team 7422Z won the VEX All Girls Showcase Tournament Championship in Thousand Oaks, Ca. on March 28, 2015.

NDTI started the Ridgecrest Robotic Mustangs for boys and girls in May 2014 in cooperation with Murray Middle School and Sierra Sands Unified School District. The Ridgecrest Robotic Mustangs currently have three teams 7422, 7422M and 7422Z. John Paul, NDTI’s Director of High Desert & Air Force Operations is the Robotics for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) program coordinator.

“This is the first and only all-girls competition held in Southern California this year,” John Paul said. “The girls have been practicing for this competition for the last three months at the facilities provided by Immanuel Christian School and worked very hard to fine tune their robot for strategy and efficiency.”
